Inara — The Beekeeper's Companion

Where ancestral wisdom meets modern intelligence.

Inara holds the full arc of your beekeeping season — inspections, tasks, varroa trends, forage windows, and the quiet counsel of a knowledge base built for your region. She remembers so you can be present in the hive.

Everything the hive asks of you, remembered

Built for working beekeepers — from first-year packages to multi-apiary operations.

AI-Powered Hive Intelligence

Inara learns your operation and offers grounded, actionable guidance — drawing from a deep library of beekeeping knowledge curated for your region.

Inspection Tracking

A thoughtfully structured form captures every detail — brood, queen, varroa counts, stores, and photos — with auto-save so a spotty signal never costs you data.

Seasonal Task Automation

Your calendar fills itself. After every inspection, Inara generates prioritized follow-up tasks. Seasonal reminders arrive tuned to your USDA zone.

Curated Knowledge Base

Tiered retrieval pulls from KBA library resources, university extension guides, and trusted national sources — with web search as a fallback when you venture off the map.

Team Collaboration

Share apiaries, split tasks, and keep everyone in the operation informed. Team-aware data access ensures your partners see exactly what they need.

Live Weather Integration

Inspection forms auto-fill from Open-Meteo the moment you open them. Weather context stays attached to every record — no manual entry needed.

Season Planning & Goals

Set goals for the year — expand to four hives, push through a first winter, start queen rearing. Inara tracks progress and adapts the plan when windows shift.

Varroa & Health Monitoring

Color-coded thresholds surface treatment urgency at a glance. Trends across your hives reveal patterns before they become losses.

A companion who has seen a thousand seasons

Inara is named for a figure of ancient protection — a guardian at the threshold. Her voice is calm, unhurried, and rooted in long practice. She does not rush you. She knows the colony has its own timing.

The full name, Inararibonye, comes from a Kirundi expression: those who have seen for themselves. It is a name for earned knowledge — not inherited certainty, but wisdom grown through observation and patience. That is what we are building toward together.

Wherever you are in the journey

Inara adapts to your stage — from ordering your first package to running splits on strong spring colonies.
